KARAS MEDJOUL DATE FARM - NAMIBIË

Shomisha

Karas Medjool Dates originally come from the south of Namibia, and the name is derived from the Karas region, where the town of Karasburg is located 120 km from our Haakiesdoorn date farm on the banks of the Orange River. The owner has joined forces with partners experienced in date cultivation and has begun planting Medjool date palms at Haakiesdoorn..

The Orange River provides an abundant water supply that is important for optimal production. The dry climate combined with the intense heat for most of the year creates an ideal growing environment for the optimal development of the fruit. The harvested fruit is cooled immediately after picking. It is then sorted into five different classes, ranging from export quality to fruit suitable for processing. After that, it is frozen and stored until it is brought to market..

Palm Fruits, in addition to packaging 5kg and 1kg boxes, also has its top brand Shomisha packaged at Karas Date Farm.

All Shomisha dates are of premium quality and carefully cultivated by Karas Date Farm from Namibia.

Shomisha Medjoul dates are available in sizes Large, Medium and Junior. And are packed in boxes of 908gr, 800gr and 400gr.
